What's the Situation?
Oftentimes, we are used to designing linear, extremely factual, and boring lessons and eLearning. The outcome is that our learners are bored, disinterested, and unable to learn. And then we wonder, why many of our learners are disengaged and failing to apply ideas at work.

What's the Situation?
Here's the "sitch": Our team of five supervisors is overloaded. Each of us are hiring and orienting new people while managing current direct reports. We also have to negotiate our team members' conflicting demands - some want to work from home, others want everyone in the office so we feel like a team not just meeting remotely. And each of us also has to try to keep the employees who want to leave the company and start their own online businesses. In addition to that, our division manager wants us to start surveying all our internal clients to find out what else we can do.

d) Conversations i) Nurse Ratchet (Nurse ): Tell me Sally (caregiver) . Did you notice any changes in Jane’s (PLWD) her mood or behavior recently? ii) Sally (Caregiver): I noticed the last 2 days Jane (PLWD) has not been herself. She was more confused than usual, very irritable and she seemed to be very restless. She was so confused she thought the toilet was her chair and she fell off the toilet. iii) Nurse Ratchet (Nurse) : You have been her caregiver for 2 years and if you noticed a sudden change from her norm, why didn’t you report it to me? |

ABC, Inc is a large global CRO with over 20,000 employees and one dedicated learning department. This department is overwhelmed with requests for their assistance from the business. Requests run the gamut - from consulting to both small and Enterprise-wide projects. There are not enough resources and no plan to hire more. How do they meet the needs of the business and maintain relationships with those they have to offer reduced services or turn away?
